We’ve seen flights from Heathrow going out to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Jakarta, Manila, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Hong Kong. Air China has a generous luggage policy also with your flights allowing each passenger to have 2x 23kg checked bags included for no additional charge. All prices are for a roundtrip and inclusive of taxes, fees, and hand luggage.
Air China promotion conditions
The cheapest fares for flights between London and Asia, Australia and New Zealand have been marketed for dates up until June 2020. From our searching, the best prices look to be from November 2019 onwards, excluding the Christmas/New Year period. Some flights have longer layovers but you can take advantage of this by using the free visitor “visa on arrival” when you land in China which will allow you to explore the layover city during your stop. You are allowed 2 checked bags in the hold, each with a max weight of 23kg. Fare class is Economy Saver. This deal is marked as available until 31st August or until sold out.
How to book
Google Flights usually is the best tool for finding the best dates, but it does not currently work with Air China. Instead, we recommend making use of the Skyscanner calendar feature. Enter your origin and destination cities. When you press the date button, choose the “Whole Month” option at the top of the calendar window and press “Search Flights”. This will allow you to enter your ideal month(s) of travel and then choose the lowest fares from the calendar that shows on the next page.
